Upstream speeds vary from 1Mbps for single lines and up to 2.5Mbps with two lines.

Fusion delivers our fastest residential broadband, plus traditional home phone service (not VoIP), at a non-traditional price point! Choose from one or two lines, unlimited nationwide home phone service.
Switching from your current carrier is easy, and you can keep your current telephone number.
Telephone service is traditional dial-tone, and includes key features like 911 (emergency) 411 (directory) and 611 (customer service). Our standard voice service works with your existing phones, on your existing phone jacks. No special hardware is required, and it's not "VoIP" - so it's easy and reliable.

Residential Voice Reasonable Use Policy
In order to assure that all customers receive the lowest pricing for unlimited voice service, Fusion Residential Phone service includes a reasonable use policy: This service plan is for residential customers, and provides local phone service and unlimited domestic direct-dialed long distance. Plan is for residential, non-business use only. Plan cannot be used for dial-up access to the Internet or for any business purposes such as telemarketing, auto-dialing, or commercial or broadcast facsimile (FAX). No resale, sharing by any means, or connection to IP phone devices for use by others is permitted. If plan is used for unauthorized purposes, we may immediately suspend, restrict or cancel the service.
FUSION EQUIPMENT
One Line
For the Fusion service to work, you will need of our our modems or modem/router combinations. Here's the equipment we offer:

Standard, no-frills ADSL2+ modem. Supports single-line Sonic.net Fusion service.
ZTE W300 Modem + Router - $99 plus sales tax, free shipping
Enhanced Modem and WiFi router combination. Includes 4 additional Ethernet ports and support for 802.11b/a/g WiFi connectivity, for greater networking flexibility. Supports single-line Sonic.net Fusion service.
Two Line
Two line Fusion needs a special bonded ADSL2+ compatible modem. Here's a little more information about the modem/router that we offer:

FUSION INSTALLATION
There is a one-time installation of the Fusion service. You can choose whether you would like to complete it yourself, or if you would prefer that a Sonic.net technician install it for you.
Self-Install - Free
Self installation requires plugging in the DSL modem to a telephone jack, and connecting it to your computer or network. If telephone wiring is not already in place, you may need to run a new wire or jack. If you are comfortable hooking up home electronics, this option may be appropriate for you.
Technician Install - $125
We will send a Spiral technician to your location to install the Fusion service for you. Exclusions: multi-story units, large commercial buildings and buildings where existing wire is not available may be impossible to serve.
Switch from Cable Phone Service - $75
If you currently have phone service with a cable company, then we need to send a Spiral technician out to switch the wires back to the telephone company box. Exclusions: multi-story units, large commercial buildings and buildings where existing wire is not available may be impossible to serve.
